Partner FAQ

Why this company? Why now?

The wellness marketplace is at an inflection point. Post-pandemic demand for mental health, spiritual guidance, and alternative healing has exploded. But the infrastructure connecting seekers with practitioners has not evolved. Directories still function like Yellow Pages — optimized for discovery speed, not for trust depth.

Klear Karma enters at the moment when seekers are sophisticated enough to know they need context before they choose, but no platform is designed to give them that context. The timing is not about market size. It is about market readiness for a trust-first approach.

How does this make money?

Three revenue streams:

  1. Token micro-purchases — Seekers buy Mirror tokens to access the reflection engine. Non-refundable, immediate revenue.
  2. Marketplace commission — 15% on every session booked. Lower than competitors (20–40%) because our value is the trust layer, not the booking mechanism.
  3. Practitioner subscriptions — Premium tiers (1,200–3,600 THB/month) for enhanced profiles, analytics, and priority in the recommendation flow.

Break-even is ~15 premium practitioners or 45 active seekers/month. Achievable within 90 days of launch.

What stops someone from copying this?

The protocol is not the moat. The moat is the data generated by the protocol.

Every Mirror flow produces consented, anonymized pattern data about what seekers need and what practitioners offer. Over time, this corpus becomes a proprietary matching engine that no competitor can replicate without running the same protocol for the same duration with the same community.

Additionally, practitioner network effects compound: more quality practitioners attract more seekers, which attracts more practitioners. The trust layer becomes stickier as the network grows.

What is the current traction?

  • 4 practitioners in the verification queue (Thailand 2, India 2)
  • 12 practitioners who expressed interest after reviewing the protocol
  • 1 advisory reviewer (clinical psychologist, 15 years private practice)
  • 42 artifacts generated from research (reports, infographics, audio, video, data tables)
  • 72-page wiki with full design system, product spec, and founder docs
  • Pre-revenue, pre-launch. The plane is built. The runway is clear.

What is the go-to-market plan?

Phase 1 (Month 0-2): Silent Launch

  • 10–15 practitioners through direct outreach
  • 50 hand-selected seekers (warm network)
  • Document first case studies
  • Goal: Prove the protocol works

Phase 2 (Month 2-4): Beta

  • Public wiki, private marketplace
  • Weekly content flywheel (artifacts → social → SEO)
  • Waitlist with referral mechanism
  • Goal: Generate signal data for public confidence

Phase 3 (Month 4-6): Public Launch

  • Remove waitlist, “Stigma Shift” campaign
  • Small paid acquisition ($200-500/month)
  • Goal: 150 practitioners, 1,000 active seeker accounts

Who is the team?

Currently, this is a founder-led build. Shesh Narayan Iyer (Bangkok/India) leads product, brand, and protocol design. The build pipeline is automated — Brandmint and NotebookLM generate research artifacts, Astro builds the wiki, Vercel deploys it.

Advisory input from:

  • Clinical psychologist, 15 years (Bangkok) — reviewing consent-safe handoff
  • Behavioral economist — reviewing token economics and incentive design

Immediate (next 90 days):

  • First 10 verified practitioners

  • First paid session completed

How do I get involved?

As a partner/advisor:

  • Review the full wiki at kkv2-astro-wiki.vercel.app
  • Schedule a 30-minute call: hello@klearkarma.com

As a practitioner:

  • Read the trust protocol: /docs/research/notebooklm-artifacts

What is the long-term vision?

Klear Karma is a protocol company disguised as a wellness platform. The trust-transfer system we build for practitioner-seeker matching can extend into:

  • Coaching and mentorship matching
  • Therapy navigation and intake
  • Education and tutoring alignment
  • Any domain where a human guide is sought, not bought

The first use case is wellness. The protocol is universal.
